This will be the 9th Annual Floral Design competition at the Austin County Fair. At the 2024 fair we will offer Floral Design and the Fair Cup competitions to both Juniors and Senior participants. These contests have opened opportunities to youth that may not be able to participate in other fair events. Our exhibitors have taken the skills learned in Austin County and competed in multiple Area and State level contests including Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo Horticulture events such as Texas Tables, Rodeo Cup and Dining Duets. Our committee is very proud of our exhibitors participating and placing Top Ten in Houston.

In order to offer this opportunity, it requires sponsorships to pay for flowers, containers and supplies. None of these activities would be possible without generous sponsors. As a Sponsor your name or business will be listed on a banner and it will be on display during the week of the fair in the Expo Center. If you are a 4-H Member, you may check out a Tool Box at the Extension Office. It is the exhibitors responsibility to sign out and return the box with all of the contents to the Extension office.
