Horticulture

The Horticulture Committee is excited to bring two contests to the Austin County Fair, Miniscapes and Container Plants. Miniscapes will be open to individuals or teams of two (2) with a total limit of 24 individual/teams on a first come, first serve basis. Entries will be completed, paid and submitted online. Miniscapes will be designed based on the theme for the year.

Container Plants will be open to individuals who will grow their entries for 6 weeks prior to the fair. There is No Theme for Container Plants. Entries will contain three (3) species of plants, measuring no more than 30x30 and not weighing more than 50lbs. Entries will be completed and paid online. This year there is no limit to the number of entries accepted. 
The Horticulture committee is very proud of our exhibitors who have gone on to participate in various State level contests such as the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo Horticulture contests of Miniscapes and Container plants.
